Every weekend for about 9-10 months out of the year we are at weddings. As we like to remind our brides “we do this every weekend, you don’t”.

Q.) How many hours of coverage do I need?
A.) That is a very complicated question. Most couples (and I said MOST) need between five and six hours of photography coverage on their wedding day. We are always happy to offer a free (no pressure) consultation to help you decide. We have years of experience that we are happy to share. We have also created an online timeline to help you decide the amount of photographic coverage that you need.
Q.) What is the procedure for hiring Studio 3L as our professional photographers?

Q.) Will you travel outside Louisville and what are your traveling fees?
A.) Yes, we have gone as far as Las Vegas for weddings. However the norm is s to stay within the Louisville/Indy/Lexington/Cincy area for weddings, corporate, and family photography. Our traveling fee is easy to calculate, go to Google maps type in 40202 as your starting point and type in your destination, take the shortest distance that Google gives you and multiply that by $1.25. That’s out traveling fee. If, the distance is more than a 3 hour drive, it will require and overnight stay and that gets more complicated.
Q.) I found a girl on Craigslist who will photograph my wedding for ten hours for only $300. Why should I pay you more to be my wedding photographers.
A.) With many years of experience and literally dozens and dozens of former wedding clients, we have the expertise, equipment and passion for wedding photography to make your sure your wedding album is full of the kind of images that you want from your special day. All Photographers (ourselves included) had to start out somewhere. But your wedding day is full of memories that you don’t want to gamble with. These days it seems like everyone has a digital camera and to a lot of hungry young artists weddings may seem like easy cash. Here is a perfect example.
Q.) Can I see some examples of your work?
A.) Yes! We have many of our complete wedding albums online for you to look through. Unlike many wedding photographers who only want to show you their 5 best photos from a wedding we are willing to let you see the full range of photographs that we provide to our clients. if you don’t feel like picking thru 15,000 photos we do have several slide shows online that you can look through under our galleries.
Q.) How many photographers will I get with my wedding.
A.) That is totally up to you. At Studio 3L we try to custom tailor our wedding photography to meet every brides and grooms specific needs.
Q.) How many photographers can you provide at my wedding?
A.) At this time we can provide 2 Pros and 2 highly skilled amateurs at any wedding.
Q.) What is your style of photography during the ceremony.
A.) That is completely up to you (and sometimes your officiate). Some ministers or churches will not allow us to shoot during the ceremony, others will. If you are flexible about these things then we leave that up to you. We have had everything from “I paid for you to be here so I want every moment documented. Give me the paparazzi treatment,” to “This is a private, spiritual moment for us and our families, we would prefer that you be as discreet as possible.” We are willing to accommodate whatever you want. This day is about you and your families, not about us.
